Project Overview
Here’s a look at how we’re putting the new site together, from securing the domain all the way through launch. This page covers what’s happening first. We’ll keep you posted as later stages come into view.
Where We’re Starting
The first five phases of the build, in order.
GoDaddy Domain and Email
Securing your domain name and setting up professional Microsoft 365 email addresses through GoDaddy, the foundation everything else is built on.
DreamHost Hosting and Domain Connection
Setting up website hosting with DreamHost and connecting it to your domain, so the site has a home to live on without disrupting your existing email.
WordPress and Elementor Foundation
Installing WordPress, the platform that will run your site, along with Elementor, the visual design tool we'll use to build every page.
Elementor Design System
Establishing your site's look and feel. Colors, fonts, spacing, and reusable design components are chosen so every page feels consistent and on-brand.
Website Pages and Content
Building out your core pages: Home, About, Services (plus individual service pages), your one-on-one meeting request page, client portal, and legal pages.
What Comes After
Once the first five phases are in place, the build continues with:
- Building the site’s header, navigation, and footer
- Evaluating Markate as your client management and booking platform
- A full round of quality assurance and testing before launch
